Sound System trunk amp connector repair pigtail harness

Repair harness for the square trunk amp connector portion of a Sound System wiring harness.  Use if your original Sound System factory wiring in the trunk area has been cut and is unrepairable, or your trunk amp connector is damaged or corroded.  
The original trunk amp connector housing and sockets are unfortunately NLA, as are the pinning and de-pinning tools for those connectors.

Kit comes with two sets of 16 insulated or non-insulated butt connectors.  The non-insulated connectors must be wrapped with heat shrink, and once the trunk section of the harness is re-wrapped with Tesa tape, the repair will be mostly undetectable.

Install is done by color matching each wire.  If you have a late-89+ car you also need to make sure the 4 radio output grounds are spliced to the single brown/black wire on the connector.
